The picture shows it a slight shade lighter that what it actually is, but it's still lovely and so very soft! The blanket is thin so if you're looking for something with a heavy comforter then this set isn't for you. As with all crib sets I've ever had, the ties to the bumper could use some reinforcing - which is a very quick process on a sewing machine. I just got this, so mine haven't broken, but this is for my fourth baby so I know it doesn't matter what crib set you choose, those ties WILL EVENTUALLY break. As for washing it, I did so immediately, as soon as I opened the box. No problems at all. Nothing fell apart or became tattered, and it all came out just as soft as it was before washing. All of that to say, I love, LOVE, love this crib set. It's perfect! The ties that hold the bumper in place come unstitched. We heard our 7 month old daughter gagging on her monitor. When I ran into her room, I found about 3 inches of pink strap hanging from her mouth. The other 6 inches were down her throat! This could have killed her if we did not get to her in time. The manufacturer took my information but has not rectified the situation. BUYER BEWARE. I wanted a bedding that matched all of the other baby stuff we bought like swing, bouncer, and rocking chair for the nursery and this ways very hard to find so I decided on a solid bedding. This bedding was better then I expected it it all pink but it has texture to it which makes it cute. I love this bedding because it's also very soft. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something simple but cute! |
